Answer: Enter the CUSIP in the search bar of your brokerage service or – if you want to view the price of a bond you currently own – you can view the price, trade details, and your position by selecting the bond in the portfolio section of your brokerage account.
The CUSIP number is nine characters code that uniquely identifies a bond.
Remember, when buying bonds knowing the exact CUSIP code to buy is essential. It's not like buying a stock as each bond issued by the company has different properties.
